Our contractor is en route to the data center and will begin the replacement of the faulty processors shortly. Update: Parcel Delayed by UPS
We regret to inform you that our planned processor replacement has been delayed due to an issue with the courier. UPS attempted to deliver the parcel, but reported that the data center was closed, which we find unlikely. Unfortunately, this has caused a delay, and we are now expecting the delivery to arrive on Monday morning.
Our on-site team is ready to act and replace the processors as soon as the parcel arrives to the facility.
We wanted to provide you with an update on the ongoing issue affecting one of our host nodes located in New York (NY), USA.
Our onsite technicians, in collaboration with DELL, have identified that the root cause is a failure of one of our latest AMD processors, which needs to be replaced. While this is a rare occurrence, it has impacted our services.
Unfortunately, the only compatible processors are currently located in Minnesota, approximately 1,400 miles away from New York. We have arranged for an overnight courier, and the new processors are expected to arrive later this afternoon (USA time).
Our team is working diligently to ensure the replacement is completed as quickly as possible, and we will keep you informed as soon as services are fully restored.
