The data centre confirmed that all fibre connections have been restored. We apologise for the service interruption.
Services that were impacted are now running smoothly again.
We were informed by the data centre that quote: "[... ]the expectation is [that] final splices and fibre node re-packing will take another hour."
Most recent update from the data centre (was released 3 minutes ago):
Splicing activities are taking longer than anticipated and the current ETA for full-service restoration is 14:00 (in 25 minutes from now).
Latest update from the data centre: Civils work and re-routing of the duct has been successfully completed. Fibre team is on site and cable pulling has commenced which will be followed by splicing Current expectations are that full restoration will be completed by 01:00pm
Latest updated from the data centre in Isle of Man as of 05:00am this morning: "The third party network provider continues to work overnight and we are assured of a service resolution this morning".
We are posting this update to assure you that we are in regular touch with the data centre in Ballasalla. These guys are doing an amazing job. There is progress to some extent, but they were not able to share a firm ETA with us yet.

At the time of writing, there has been no update available in terms of an ETA. There has been a major fibre break in the Isle of Man, which has taken down both physical lines of our uplinks. We will post an update once we know more.
There is a major fibre break which has taken down both physical cables. The provider is onsite assessing damage and starting repair but we do not have an ETA at the moment.

The data centre in Isle of Man confirmed that their "upstream telecoms provider has confirmed a fault on their side and have engineers onsite to resolve the issue".
